Join SpanOut Learning and Piñatas Party for a special hands-on workshop celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Kids will learn about the cultural history of piñatas while creating their very own to take home. We provide the materials, the kids bring their creativity and excitement! The event is led by qualified bilingual instructors, so kids will also learn Spanish words along the way!


This is a 3-hour drop-off event. We’ll provide a light snack, but kiddos are welcome to bring their own.

This is a 3-hour drop-off event. We’ll provide a light snack, but kiddos are welcome to bring their own.

  • Kids will design and build their very own piñata! With step-by-step guidance, they’ll cut, paste, and decorate with colorful fringe before taking their creation home.

    Along the way, they will:

    • Take a snack break and make new friends

    • Learn about the cultural history of piñatas and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

    • Receive bilingual instruction through Spanish + English

    • Explore a multicultural STEAM craft experience

    This is a small group, hands-on workshop with a low child-to-adult ratio. Parents do not need to stay, but are welcome to relax in our front space while the workshop is in session. The event is led by qualified, safety-trained staff.

  • All craft materials + decorations

    • Step-by-step guidance from bilingual instructors

    • Light snacks (or bring your own)

    • A take-home piñata to display or share

    ⏰ Sessions:

    • 12:00 – 3:00 PM

    • 3:30 – 6:30 PM

      👧 Recommended for ages 5-12.
      ✨ Youngest age: 3
      ✨ Older kids are also welcome!
